What is "the system" that's running our society or whatever, I heard it alot in movies but is it just judicial

I think that right now, US society is being run by the personal agenda of various members of the republican party. These people are grossly violating and taking advantage of the "system" that should be in place, and has been until the past few decades. I don't buy into these big conspiracy theories, i think it is just alot of people with undeserved power doing what most any human would do: looking out for themselves and their friends.

When people refer to "The System" they tend to mean any established institution, including government agencies, that kind of set the rules for society.

We do, however, have a three-part system of government: The Executive (the president), the Legislative (Congress) and the Judicial (the courts).
