What do you actually want to know about Enlgih Literature books? Try Lord of the flies, Olver twist, Great expectations, Tom Brown's School days.

English literature is a vast storehouse of knowledge.Where would you like to start?Its divided into periods and can have short stories or poems or novels and epics?One can lose oneself in the realm of literature.Why not read the works of Shakespeare or for lighter ones by Bronte sisters?

If you mean English as in the written language, I'd have to go with 'The Great Gatsby'. One of my favorite books of all time. How can you *not* love Owl Eyes?!?!
