Neither when it comes to dial up. The connection speed of dial-up is limited by the bandwidth of phone lines. Dial-up is very slow because most people use broadband now and web pages are very large. This can cause what the other answerer said, a bottleneck affect, because the phone line gets clogged, thus long waits for a page to load.
If you find that you can go get a cup of coffee or use the restroom while a page loads, it is probably time to switch to DSL or broadband.

The Dial up line speed has absolutely nothing to do with MSN, Yahoo or other ISP's, The speed that you connect to Internet is a function of the telephone line traffic that exists in your city neighborhood and the type/size of cabling used by the tel company. The Isp's may tell you that they have the means to increase the speed of surfing the Internet but this has nothing to do with your telephone line's speed.

If you can afford it, get cable(if you don't have it already) and get the internet through them, if they offer it. It costs about the same. I should know because I shopped around and compared prices before I got my internet service, and it really IS up to ten times faster then dial-up. Dial-up SUCKS. And I can really tell the difference when I go over to my mom's house( she has dial-up) and I go on the internet on her CRAPPY *** p.c., and I get extremely frustrated because half the time, the pages that I want to view don't even load, or the computer completely freezes because it is so slow. It's a total waste of time. Now that I have the internet through my cable company, I will never go back--I am so happy with it.

Either connection is faster than a modem. That is, the fact that you're dialing up will be the bottleneck, not whether you connect to yahoo, msn, aol, etc.

there is no diifference between different dial-up connections.
It does not matter which dial-up connection u use. It depends on your local phone service. it depends on so many factoors such as below:
1- The distance between your dial-up service center that provides your phone service and your data speed.
2- depend on when you connect to your ISp , If you connect to your ISP when there are not so many people connected to it, your connection speed will be faster.
I wish my answer have been useful for u.
