i really need a formal dress that is not TOO formal if you catch my gist. It's gonna be hot so it will need to be light and cool. Where can I get some and how much will they cost?

well i found my dress at Dillards for $40 each dress and they are both semiformal as well as they keep you cool. my best bet is to wait until after Thanksgiving, Christmas as well as the prom season after which the nice 3/4 dresses go for $30 and up. try places such as Marshalls, Ross, TJ MAXX, or if the wedding is in the summer time wait until after the prom time. buy a dress in colors such as pastels, red, teal, rose, with spaghetti staps since it is nice. also, give the nice dresses that are strapless and a little bit below the knee and are black with pink lace and look vintage a try but i would stick with a colorful palette dress-something that is nice not over poweing: red, blue, copper, brown, those sort of colors. best of luck!

forever 21 has a lot of dresses!! most are about $30.......but formal dresses arent really appropriate for summer, unless its like kinda short (not really short but like also not dragging on the floor) and if they dont look like really fancy then you can wear it on a hot summer day, but summers not for awhile.........so you have plenty of time to find a few dresses!
oh and also if you dont like the dresses at forever 21, you can always go to nordstroms or a nice little boutique downtown! not like a thrift store or anything (way too vintage and old), but like a nice trendy, cute store
