How could some one possibley put their job before their loved one?

I mean priority wise...how could some one possilby put anything above their loved one?! It boggles my mind ><

cause they dont know what's really important in life.they think money is all they need to be happy,but money cant buy happiness.....or just cause they just dont care about others i guess.

i was dating this guy for a while, and he worked a lot i mean like 90 to 120 hours a week 7 days a week. he was a workaholic before i meet him and he still is. its sad because he is one of the people that i love to death but his job has always been and always be his firs and last love. we still talk about two times a month and he still regrets the fact that we are no longer together, but he is not willing to cut back on his hours.

They put themselves and their needs before anyone else. They refuse to put everything else on the back burner for the sake of a relationship. I think this is the best way to live — in fact, I'm so dead set on having a successful career that I've pledged never to have a serious relationship until I'm old, retired, and bored. I love myself more than any man.

Because something like a job is someone's livelyhood... it's what they depend on to survive. So basically, it's putting THEMSELF before their loved one. I'm not saying it's right, but that's how many people can justify it to themselves.

well ask your self if your Love is strong enough to survive living under a bridge together...Maybe your loved one wants to make sure you are financially sound or maybe they feel you don't pull your financial weight and they are forced to work too much...think about it and then talk to them to really find the answer to your question.

cause you got to look at it ok career or love which one pays the bills which one going to keep me happy me i choose my career cause that person would see you doing life and making things better for your relationship to happen so you can afford those things love doesnt pay the bills they just love send the bills to you thats all ...
