The only thing I watch from the UK is Doctor Who (and I'm not really from the UK so I wouldn't really know any other REALLY popular television shows).

If you go by Ratings then the soaps come out on top;
Corrie, Eastenders and Emmerdale
Followed by shows like Dr Who, Prime Suspect, Touch of Frost etc
Reality shows prop up the bottom 10, Ant&Decs Sat Takeaway, X-Factor, Big Brother, Strictly Come Dancing

the simpsons, friends, eastenders, corination street, emmerdale, deal or no deal, most haunted, strictly come dancing, the X factor, Big brother, there are loads i could continue but its all down to what kind of tv programme that you like to watch.
