after surgery hes coming back that could be anywhere from a couple months to a year.

On the October 20th edition of SmackDown, the rivalry finally ended as Chavo defeated Rey Mysterio in a "I Quit" match after repeatedly battering on Mysterio's exposed knee, using the Raw stage set. This storyline provided an on-camera explanation for Mysterio's real-life knee surgery, said to sideline Mysterio for about six months.

No he isn't retiring. After he recovers from his surgery he's leaving Smackdown for Raw. But not until he damages Chavo to the point he can't wrestle anymore.

No he has to have surgery on his knee which has been playing up for a while he is meant to be out for about 6 months or so but he might come back earlier to help Chris benoit with the chavo fued!!!!!!

i agree with x factor i'll miss him even though it's a storyline i try not 2 miss raw or smackdown. and as for king booker people don't talk and act like the way in england like he's doing i guess when he loses his crown he'll go back 2 normal.

No , Like most wrestlers do from time to time he is taking some time off to be with family and enjoy life a little bit, we should see his return in a five to six weeks.
