It might be good to just tell them that you don't want to discuss whatever it is they're asking about. If you value your relationship with this person, you owe it to both of you to be honest, even when it might be awkward. If the person is more instrusive than you;re comfortable with, you may need to draw some boundaries. You could try saying something like, "I don't like to talk about that."

Good luck.

PS Lying takes to much energy. It will wear you out in no time.

Yeah it is hard to keep a lie going. I would say come clean. Tell the person they are annoying and let them know how you feel in a tactful way. Maybe they will understand and if they dont they wont bother you any more so whats the big deal?

It's always better to tell the truth, that way you won't have to worry about what lie you told the last time.

i think of fellows tell lies to ward off issues. the humorous subject is the lies they tell create greater issues for themselves. mendacity approximately something user-friendly and insignificant leads us to have confidence you lie approximately all issues era. i understand ive lied approximately issues too, yet the two interior the courting ought to artwork on open verbal substitute and easily being honest could def make the whole courting greater desirable.

Or selective truth,

Try not lying or getting better at it!!!!!
