i am learning how to use my new artificial leg, and i went to a friends house to visit, and she has a step to get into her unit, so i got out of my wheelchair and took my first step up the stair.
i felt like a little child learning something new, i am also trying to learn how to use fore-arm crutches rather then my walker when i am wearing my prosthetic leg.

I climbed two mountains in two days. 20 miles. High elevation. (And I had thought in the past that I might just sit on the couch for the rest of my life with my disability)
