The very best thing to do would be to ask your friends what they are wearing. Some people here might tell you to wear a cute dress and then you show up and feel weird because all your friends showed up in jeans - or vice versa!
Go shopping with your buddies.

so u r 2 we had a dance the other day but dont be 2 dressy if u do want to wear something girly then wear a skirt with leggings or a dress over some good jeans with long necklaces but if u dont want to get too dressy go with a pair of vintage ripped jeans and a vintage tee with lots of long necklaces with a golden/greenish eyeshadow with a peachy lush and red lip stick
