Are you FAT or are you THIN? Do you exercise EVERY DAY or sit in front of the COUCH? Do you eat healthy or does your diet consist of fast food? Family history of heart disease? Lots of things to consider.....

My friend @ work has a heart monitor that looks like a wrist watch - you just put it on & it tells you the heart rate b/min. I tried it & it was 85 (high for me) I mentioned how it was quite high & he suggested that I try to think about my heart slowing down. I relaxed very deeply for 15 seconds & thought about my heart slowing down... tested the heartrate again & got 41 b/min.

Conclusion? Heartrate is hugely affected by mental/emotional state.

different bodies have different needs...gas exchange in some people is faster which means slower heart rate so need more blood flow which means faster heart rate....your diet can also effect the rate at which your heart beats caffeine and other stimulants increase your heart rate

lower rate means ur body works better so ur in better shape...
