Minimum wage puts the lowest skilled workers out the jobmarket, and the problem thier no policy to determine which worker is working minimum wage that is working fulltime, and a worker that is teenager. Minimum wage increase is stupid most times because it makes it likely business will lay off the lowest skilled workers with this goverment mandate high more skilled workers, or small shops will have to let go of workers to keep running, and increase prices on goods. Also, 77% of ecomonists say mimunim wage is a bad idea it is. Want to help the low skilled worker give them tax credits, and income rebates if they need heatlh insurance instead of forcing the mandate on business.

It gives people who make very little money, a bit more money. Maybe they have a few more dollars to get by in life. I don't think massive inflation will occur if a few poor people have a few more dollars in their pocket each paycheck. How many workers actually make the minimum wage? Not enough to make a huge difference in prices overall.

Minimum wage increases the spending in society because it increases the cash that the lesser saving, lesser investing public has. This could increase the number of jobs. Sadly though, this increases price of products too at times.

Is does not cause higher prices, that's just not the truth. 23 States now have higher than the federal. $5.15 that is a 1915 wage. Also in the 23 Sates that have higher than Federal it has not caused job loss.
