Yes, of course! Unless she or the family requested no flowers. Sometimes people prefer a donation be made to a charity instead of flowers--ie, the American Cancer Society if they died of cancer, etc.

Yes you should send flowers at the very least.
More importantly it would be good if you can be there. If you would like to be with your family at this difficult time and the reason you are not going is because you can not afford to travel there, you can get help. Call the American Red Cross. You just have to be able to document the death, a faxed copy of the obituary or a call to the funeral home would probably do it. They will pay for your transportation.

Yes, of course send a lovely arrangement and if you know what her favorite was then try to send flowers in those colors.
Sending flowers would also make you feel better about not being able to attend her funeral and put your mind at ease a bit too.
Nice of you to think about sending flowers to your grandmothers funeral and I'm so sorry about your loss.

No.
Flowers wilt and die.
Find out what your grandmother's charitable interest was, and send a donation in her memory. It will live on by doing some good that the flowers can't.

How very thoughtful of you. in case you deliver plant existence, more effective than likely, those will both stay on the funeral residing house, or on the church the position her facilities will be (not a nasty ingredient, extremely, as church homes don't have a good number of money for figuring out to purchase plant existence). i in my opinion extremely like the idea of sending a plant...that is a reminder that existence keeps. once you're close to for your bf's dad, then i might want to deliver it to him...i'm confident he desires comforting. you may also evaluate sending a valuable card for your bf's grandfather, to enable him recognize you're making an allowance for him.

Yes or a donation in her name to a charitable organization that she supported or a medical research org for whatever she may have had; such as American Cancer Society.
