Anyway, I've been trying to figure out why I like Amy Lee and other singers like her: I think it's the vulnerability, intelligence and humanity in her vocal style that sears my soul. Musically. Not always in a good way.
As for angels... no. Angels would be singing songs of joy: their pains and sorrows are largely left behind and they're filled with the Gospel. I suspect the only sorrow to be found in Heaven is the loss of loved ones who reject the Lord.

No i do not agree. She never describe her voice to be an angel, right now she want to be #1 rock female singer # 1, but she not yet at that level, maybe if she sings pop songs then she can be so nice.
You have to try :
Nightwish, that's the angel voice in metal music.
Sarah brightman - that's an angel voice in pop / opera music.
Enya - that's an angel voice in new age music
Tracy chapman - that's an angel voice in folk music
Aishah - that's a voice for pop music should sound, She is a malaysian female singer.

most definitely - her voice is just so powerful. you hear her voice over the music all the time and i you watch the live shows then you'll see the effort she puts in.......awesome!!!!!!!!!!
