Not sure if this idea will calm you down .... but it helps with making a speech more presentable. I have the problem that when I get nervous, I begin to talk faster and faster.
On my speech paper I will pencil in a note to myself between certain sentences. COUNT FIVE SECONDS ..... COUNT TEN SECONDS .... LOOK UP AT AUDIENCE.
Little things like that keep me from running 100 miles an hour through my speeches.

Maybe you could adapt the advice from the Stuttering Foundation of America on using the telephone to speaking in class. Here is what they say:
Practice should help you to feel happier.
Talk about what it is that you fear happening and what you can do about it.
Openly admit that you stutter. This may be very difficult if you have avoided talking about it all your life. Practice talking about your stuttering. Many people have said that talking about it has reduced their anxiety and fear.
Give others the benefit of the doubt. If they know you stutter then they are prepared to expect some silences.
Finally practice, practice, practice.
They have a brochure for teachers that might be helpful for you to give your teacher. Look under "Brochures for all ages" in the left column of their web site.
You can watch their videos about stuttering and maybe get some help there, too. Go to www.google.com, click on "video" and type in "stuttering" and you'll see 3 or 4 of their videos - the one "For Kids, by Kids" is really special.

Repeat rhyms and song lyrics for a few hours before.
I did this for a long time then stopped stuttering altogether.
It worked for me and I was a professional performer for a long time.
I do relapse now and then I just go on a rhyming binge for a while until the stuttering stops. Ya know instead of speaking. Put your words across in rhyms.. I think it makes you think faster or something. Makes you a little more creative for sure!
It has worked for a few others I've known also.
Kinda fun too...

Don't keep worrying that you will stutter.. Instead focus aand remember what you want to deliver to your class. Prepare beforehand. Your aim is to get your point across to your class, to "sell" your idea to the class. Cracking a joke and adding humor definitely helps too. I will make fun of a particular audience, so the attention goes to him/her for a while and I sort of having a break from all the attention.
Enjoy the process and you will actually forget your stage fright!

Have fun with your buddies
Laugh and tell jokes just before going in front of the class
If you arrive there with the smile and still laughing about a joke you will be much more calm and less serious about what you are about to do.
If you try all those crappy technique or relaxation or whatever people going to suggest you, trust me ( I stuttered too in high school) it wont work. Right when you will be in front you will stress.
Laugh, laugh, laugh man
Thats the medecine, I swear.
If someone dare make fun of you, say " Fu-fu-***** you ! ;)

French research has shown that penitent intercourse has Benn of great benefit to those with not only stuttering but Parkinson's,shyness, and apprehension.this concept does not include indiscriminate application, but as a musician myself,i use it discretely about an hour ( or less for increased effectiveness)be for any substantially scary public performance.just flush your problems away and lead the group beyond' the culmination of the event.

Five minutes of slow, deep breathing before it is time to speak. When you stand up in front of the class, imagine that everyone else is in their underwear. Since you are dressed, you will be the only one not embarrassed. Also, prepare well. Type your notes in large, bold print, so they are easy to read when you refer to them. Try to focus on one sympathetic face in the audience. Best of luck.
