I've never failed anything before, so I'm finding it difficult to deal with.

Cheers

Well you have a choice;you can give up or try harder. I am hard on myself with grades too so I understand you are upset but failure happens to everybody and it sounds like you were due.

If you've never failed anything before then that one grade shouldn't really affect your grade in that class. Just don't even worry about that one and study for your others. There's nothing you can do about it now so just be prepared to past the other exams.

People say you pay x-many dollars for each class so you should go to them all. That's BS. You are paying x-many dollars (in my case about $800) for them to mark your exam. The best way to think about it is if you don't study you are pretty much throwing $800 away, and you WILL have to pay that again if you fail and want to continue in your program.

Do not get discouraged, study and keep studying. You do not want to regret not studying. Look at it this way, if u do not study u will or could fail. If u do study u will or could fail. It looks to me that I won't hurt to study. There are pros and cons in life go for it and do not look back! I sound corny, lol. But I am serious.

just think about your final grade and how badly you need to do well on the next upcoming exam after failing the 1st one.

You're not the only one who failed an exam.

But you don't want to get failing grades in all your courses, do you?

If your classload is anything like mine you might want to slack (but not too much) on the classes you are doing good in to concentrate more on the one you are bombing.
