Faith Hill cracks a joke?
In this statement she explains her outburst at the CMA awards...

"THE IDEA THAT I WOULD ACT DISRESPECTFUL TOWARDS A FELLOW MUSICIAN IS UNIMAGINABLE TO ME. FOR THIS TO BECOME A FOCUS OF ATTENTION GIVEN THE TALENT GATHERED IS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS. CARRIE IS A TALENTED AND DESERVING FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR."

It got attention because what she did was ridiculous. Is it me or is this the season for misread jokes? I know and expect that when you are in the public eye you will make a bad joke or say something the wrong way or even let an emotion slip when you don't mean to.

It still doesn't make it right given it was taken the wrong way. Joke, mistake, or stupidity, Faith should apologize for what she did and not act so suprised when people take her reaction at face value. How can it be taken as a joke when she really hasn't shown herself as that kind of person on television before?

Why is it hard to say sorry?

If something, they are getting much greater useful. faith's recent album Fireflies grew to become into dazzling and had some quite huge hits on it. Tim's been having some great hits recently besides, and that i'm specific as quickly as his action picture Flicka is released he's gonna be everywhere in the media. they are sooo proficient and so great at the same time, rattling i'm jealous!

she did say sorry the media just isnt concentrating on that part. she and carrie talked after the awards show and they are completely fine. it was a joke but the media just blows things way out of proportion. and the camera went off of faith hill way too fast for us to see that it was a joke.

I dont think it was a joke. That was a true feeling. She was pissed! Now she is just trying to cover up her outburst to make herself look good. She's fakey, never did like her or Tim, both overated . Martina or Sara Evans should of won, Carrie U. sucks

I think a better question is why do people constantly feel pressured to apologize for things that should be ignored? Do Americans really have such thin skin that the stupid things that words can do such horrendous damage to us? I hope not.
