The answer to whether or not Bush will become a lame duck President or not will depend entirely upon President Bush. And we will begin to see that answer tomorrow morning.

The President can either choose to accept the mandate from the people that was voiced in this election (and that he ignored until now). The next two years can be more productive than the previous six years if will take a humble approach tomorrow morning, accept the fact that he has become disconnected from the American people, and choose to accept the hand of cooperation that Ms. Pelosi appears ready to extend.

President Bush will only become a lame duck President if he chooses that path.

It could be forced to the center pollitically and Iraq war policy the democrats will put the pressure cooker on Duyda here. Otherwise, its the same old pork barrell game and most incumbants in both parties got elected the new comers will be given scrap pork bits. Bush will end up better because of the election because it will forced him to look more towards the middle a little bit more and have to look beyond the 20% base in the republican party.

He became a lame duck the day his second term started since he's unable to run for office again.

He's already lame. As far as a lame duck is concerned, I think we still need to see if the Dems are going to win the senate.

He is really a lame duck after today! He better start making some exit plans from Iraq because money is going to dry up!

He's got two more years of hobbling along. Hopefully, the House can keep him in line. But the President has enormous power and this dolt (Bush, of course) wields it like a spoiled child in a toy store.

Not at all just because a liberal Senate or house takes power Bush still has his veto power to keep them in check and the Dems still don't have to real power with three quarters that when anyone should worry because they can amend the Constitution.
