Gender affected my vote on an abortion measure. It would require all minors to have parental consent before getting an abortion. I voted no b/c as a teenager if I had gotten pregnant and had to tell my parents, my mother probably would have inflicted serious bodily injury on me. So I guess my gender effected that vote b/c I was able to relate to a teenage girl in that situation.

Neither gender nor race has any basis on who I vote for anymore. Gender used to be a big deal to me in the first election I ever voted in several years ago, but over time I learned that gender is not a high prerequisite, men and women can be just as stupid or just as moral as the other gender.

Not in the least. No guarantees for other elections, though.

But how awesome would a presidential face-off between Hilary Rodham Clinton and Condoleeza Rice be?!?
