None of the above.
Money is important for civilization; for me it buys my food. Money pays my rent, and it covers the cost of the cloth I clothe myself with.
Money cares for the basic needs of every one; from the farmer, to the factory worker, to the factory owner, to the running of the stock market.
For me money is important to me: "to keep the infrastructure of the global economy going" so that this old dog can sleep in peace, and warmth, on a cold January night; with a full belly, clean clothes and a dollar in my jeans.

coz money can buy a bed for you but u cant buy sleep..but if you have sleep u need money to buy a bed....so its equally important to make ur dreams true...
I want to become a air pilot but as my family is not financially sound so i have to give up my dreams...now I am an engineer..so see its important

I have realized that without money you cannot live in this world. your social prestige stands on money even religious institutions and religious heads are not exempt.

I would have to say #1, money doesn't rule me or my decisions. If i have it great, if not i'll figure something out to survive.

i am closest to # 2. it fits me fine. spendthrift that i am, i prefer not keeping it for myself. the more i give the more i get.
