LOL, no i don't plan on going to prison in this lifetime, just asking out of curiosity.

Yes it does. If you're weak or perceived as weak the gay inmates or the gay for the stay inmates will prey on you.

My husband has been in federal prison for 26 years.
Yes, men and women both are routinely raped. For men, if you are small or act remotely weak, you will be raped. There was one young kid who looked like the classic nerd there on a minor drug charge, and was gangraped his first week. He wound up dying from his injuries, as there's only one doctor for 2000 inmates at this particular facility. There was no question of "refusing" or fighting back. He weighed maybe 140 pounds, versus the five guys who wanted him.
As for women, you can be raped by fellow inmates, again if you appear weak. You can also be raped by staff, altho that's usually consensual if you want "favors." Regardless of public opinion, prison provides inmates with the bare essentials. If you don't have family to send you commissary money, you have no way of getting a warm sweater, a second pair of shoes, writing paper, extra food, and so forth. Unless you work out a trade with staff.
Google search the Tallahassee, FL newspapers about the FBI agent killed this past summer while trying to arrest several guards at the women’s Federal Correctional Institute there. No. he wasn’t killed by the inmates. He was killed by one of the guards, with a gun the guard wasn’t supposed to have. The guards were being charged with having sex with the female inmates in exchange for cigarettes and other favors (also known as extortion).

well sounds like your thinking of going to prison first do something stupid get arrested finger printed photographed so they remember longer who you are criminal record and then jail ,,lots of things to do before you have to worry about soaap being used as a lubricant for your tight virgin ***,see you there sweetie.

Sadly, yes it does. And "refuse to give in"? That's why it's called rape. Otherwise, it's merely consensual sex.
