One of the best natural treatments involves yogurt which has a bacteria in it that prevents the yeast from multiplying. First of all you should rid your diet of breads and yeast products; sugars and "white carbs. No sodas; drink lots of water and eat alot of yogurt.
Wash and dry the area thoroughly and wear loose fitting cotton panties and pants. Yeast thrive in moist, hot areas.
You can actually make a douche of 1/2 plain yogurt with acidophiles cultures in them (like Dannon) and use it; and apply yogurt around the vaginal area, or whatever area has the yeast. You can also take acidophiles tablets at the health food store. "Airing out" the area is also beneficial. This treatment will take a while longer than the over the counter treatment.
You will always have yeast on your body; but sometimes, it over produces and then you get an infection. It has nothing to do with a "tub bath". Your body has lots of different bacteria like staph; it's just when it gets out of hand that it's a problem. Godloveya.

What many people don't know is that if ever in your life you had to take some kind of antibotic meds then you have yeast. I learned that once you have yeast built up in your body it just keeps growing. causes infections as well as make you feel rotten.
Go to a GNC store and ask sales person what they recomend to cleanse the body of yeast build up and she can get you on the right path. once you get rid of the yeast remember not to take anymore antibiotics. If you start on a vitamin program you wont get sick and you won't have to take those meds.
Medicine is only a treatment not a cure. try to stay away from meds and yes vitamins, herbs and roots are what will get you healthy and rid you of lots plus you'll feel so much better

yogurt... just slather it on like you would any cream.. and drink cranberry juice and loads of water.. stay away from foods that would allow the yeast to flurish like sugar, ferminted foods ie: sauces (ketchup, mustard etc) vinegar, yeast rolls, bread.. dont eat mushrooms... .. yeast infection is the overgrowth of the yeast bacteria in a high sugar content in your bodily fluids.. (thats why when you bake bread you add a little sugar, water into the yeast before baking bread) try to not eat sugars or drink sodas for a week... goodluck! Oh and wear cotton undies so it can breath..and sleep without any... haha!

My Ex had that problem and went to a homeopathic Dr. I do not know what he gave her, but he did tell her to never take a "tub" bath again. Nothing but bacteria in the water. In fact she had the tub removed and has a nice area for "desert plants". Looks nice.
