You can buy an early home pregnancy test that you can take up to five days before your expected period but from experience (many times over) they don't work because there is not yet enough pregnancy hormone in your urine to show positive. You can get some cheapie tests online that measure 20ml of hcg in your urine. Those are the very earliest and still about 5 days before. I have NEVER tested positive that early unless I went to the doc for a blood test. I know its hard, but just be patient and wait a few more days. Go to www.twoweekwait.com for support. Best wishes!

Most pregnancy tests work about a week or two after you missed your next period coming up. Any tests that say that they can detect about 5 days before your missed period could be misleading. Supposedly, there's a disclaimer that it only detects the levels of the hormones in a small number of women that early.
I'm DYING to know. I've taken three pregnanct tests, and I need to know if I'm prego or not. I'm going to the doctor (or a clinic) to take a blood test.
Word of advice...don't flip out over pregnancy symptoms. They vary so much that there's NO TELLING if your pregnant or not...based on some of the physical symptoms.

3-4 weeks after the suspected date of conception, or 4-6 weeks after your last period, if your cycles are around 28 days. Urine tests are the only tests sold over the counter to my knowlage. Good luck and be patient.

We found out about 4 weeks after conception. Buy a pee test! They are surprisingly accurate! I never had a blood test at the doctors office, he used the same test I had bought from CVS.

A blood test can tell 7 days after ovulation and home urine pregnancy test are very accurate about 14 days after ovulation or about the time your period is late. www.peeonastick.com has lots of tests and info. Good luck!
