Are the results that I can read on CNN temporary or definitive ?
I wonder if I can kiss American electors, or if it is too early to be happy.

It is currently 8:00 p.m. on the west coast and the polls just closed there. Alaska and Hawaii will not close for another 3 hours. The U.S. extends across 6 time zones. Not as big a problem with this election as with a presidential election, T.V dweebs, notoriously republican but styled as liberal, used to report the results when half the country had not yet voted.

You must still do a bit more work by calling the Board of Elections and ask whether they can prove your vote, or any vote was truly counted. They will say NO. You say, "Those Republican owned machines must GO!

the polls are closed but they're still counting the votes, so the votes are still temporary. they wont be complete till the morning. cause there could be recounts.

most of the country is done, but i'm not sure if they are finished in the farthest west time zone yet.
