Love, Hate, Patience, Kindness, Immaturity, Generousity, Amusement, Education, Immoral Conduct, Faith, Hope, Justice... to name a few.
I have lived by by own rules only to have those rules come back and bite me on the a** too many times. "Turning the Other Cheek" was the best thing that I ever did for myself and for others who care for me in our lives!
I hold forth in the adages of "What comes around...", Karma, and of COURSE, the subject of your own question!

My mother always warned me that I would and... sure enough. The thing that stands out the most is how I used to smart mouth my parents. Well, my 9 year old is a real smart mouth now! She has been for like 2 years.
I just hope that Jesus doesn't keep track of every "plant in the field for harvest," if you catch my drift. (I couldn't bear it if my daughters were 1/4 as bad as I was!!)

You reap what you sow, it's universal law. Sow love, get love, sow generosity, sow into investment, sow into property, sow into a person's life as a mentor, sow time into doing my own thing in leau of spending more time with daughter, etc., etc. I can eventually see the effects of all of them
