By that do you mean "The good old days where a free drink at the bar would buy a vote".. Or as they used to say in old Chicago. "Vote and vote often".

You mean when only white men who owned property could vote? Yeah, those sure were good times weren't they, when women and non-whites could be counted as property and a slave was 3/5ths of a person.
