Can anyone recommend Elixer strings for electric guitar and why? If not, what strings do you prefer and why?

I have never used Elixer strings. I prefer GHS due to low cost, good stay in tune characteristics and they are available in several gauges... my preference being .009 - .042 I change strings often on both my G&L S500 and Ibanez PF200. On my Vintage Gibson Dove, I prefer Martin Light Guage Bronze strings, sound good with less pull on the guitar.
