When minimum wage increases, the cost of production increases, that means that the cost of everything goes up.
When that happens it causes people to want minimum wage to go up, it is a vicious cycle.
The only way to stop it is to stop increasing minimum wage.

your are corrupt in your thinking when was the minimum wage ever increased but a pittance as the other increases go up 8 times
minimum wage remains the same and then when once in a blue moon it goes up but only an infinitesimal amount while the real cost of living crushes the minimum wage and in inflationary times as well! When those in control of the greater financial
resources drop their rapacity; economic justice will have a chance
. the war time economy is for the wealthy class and billions are wasted outside the country in the process after taxes rape the
poor and middle class . I guess Americans can move to Iraq for a decent deal....

Not having minimum wage allows employers to exploit the more vulnerable members of society such as recent immigrants, and young people. Countries with higher minimum wages tend to have higher degrees of social equity. The US has a low minimum wage compared to say, Canada, and also has higher levels of poverty.
Minimum wage is one of those things that logically needs to go up with inflation and Consumer Price Index just like milk, eggs, cars and hamburgers.

Well in come states it's reasonable. But I think that minimum wage is for high school.l kids because it's just extra money to add onto their parents money. But if you are out of high school and independent and u work on a job getting minimum wage RUN!

Just try living on the minimum wage. The people who do the hardest, dirtiest work get the lowest wages and people like you think that's fine.
