First of all, I'm not going to address my own beliefs.
But people believe in God because everyone needs SOMETHING to believe in. Ever notice how right when a war breaks out, everyone stops arguing and becomes ONE? Suddenly, everyone has something to get behind. We can all believe that we are fighting for a just cause. Many people join movements like PETA or the NRA because they feel it gives them purpose. Religion is a very convenient source because it's all around us, and it comforts us.
Please, try not to go after the people who have these beliefs. Spirituality has saved many lives even if religious fanatics have taken many more away. Take everyone one at a time, and don't judge them by what they believe in.

False hope is better then no hope and as for God well prove the existence of air and you'll have proof that God exists.Even if you don't believe, that in it's self is a belief which says that you do question but haven't found an answer.Everyone thru out their journey meets God in their own time,in their own way,in their own imagination's image as will you if you haven't already. The trick is up to your powers of perception and recognition.Good luck.Happy trails-peace.

First of all I would like to know what the word
flase means?
Most of us aren't stupid enough to believe in somthing that is a figment of our imagination.
I am wondering why you are so angry with God or those who believe in Him.
How can you be angry at something that doesn't exist? If God doesn't exist then why do you bother asking the question here? Seems like you are wasting your time on something that you don't believe in.

we were ALL meant to believe in God but original sin came in made people think that he was just a figment of our imaginations. same thing with polythiesm. ppl thought that one god couldnt do it all so they made up more to make things more logical..... however, God is not logical, he just is what he is. He is a mystery to even his chosen ppl.

Belief is beyond our individual control. Some say it is a mixture of early childhood influence and adult needs. Others say that it is all dependent on G-D. We are either selected or we are not. I support your search in life's meanings though. Cheers.

Why do you believe in living? Why do you believe in loving your family? Why do you even believe in anything? Because you just do, and we believe in God because we just do.

Under the guise of a question you make a statement, then use the word "WE" very loosely. Thinking yourself perceptive you instead are deceptive.

illusion keeps us sane.
the real word described by physics isn't what we see, it's a roaring array of content that, if perceived, would floor our feeble brains.
or, like, you may not want to know you're terminally ill.
the truth is generally helpful when disclosed to us, but it can also cause us chagrin and actual harm.
