Surely he is: A Missouri Truman, after all. Does anyone have a link which discusses his lineage? Thanks.

This is interesting. Harry S. had a brother named Vivian who had 2 sons, Fred & Gilbert. From here, I am unsure of the surname trail. Truman also had a sister, that I believe remained unmarried.
Jack Truman claims to be a distant relative of the President. "He changed his name legally from John Kerney about 10 years ago" From the AP, he states, "'All my life, my mother has told me I am distantly related to Harry. I am just telling what my mother has always told me. That's all I know.'"

Thank you, Angel_dev. I know Jack Truman is NOT a direct decendent of President Harry Truman.

Harry & Bess had one daughter Mary Margaret Truman. She married ". . .Clifton Daniel (1912 - 2000) on April 21, 1956. . . Their sons are: Clifton Truman Daniel (born 1957), William Wallace Daniel (1959 - 2000), who was killed in a taxi cab collision in New York City, Harrison Gates Daniel (born 1963), and Thomas Washington Daniel (born 1966). Clifton has written and spoken publicly about his grandfather and his experience as the grandchild of a president."

He's Harry's great-nephew.
