He's not doing real well right now, heck I havn't watched results in over an hour it could all be over by now. I was sure hoping he would win.

I was too because I voted for him, but the people of Texas have been so brainwashed by the Republican conservatives and the Republican machine, that they decided they like the Bush clone, Perry and want him to continue. Yuck! Last time I checked the Kinkster was last and down around 11%. At least I got a nice T-Shirt I can wear in years to come. Just wish we were going to have a Governor Kinky.

I knew he didn't have a chance, but I voted for him with the hopes that it will encourage third-party candidates in the future.

Perry's expected to win it with like 40%, Bell with about 29%, Strayhorn with 18%, Kinky with 11% (double digits, anyway!), and Werner with 1%.

*sigh* I did. I can't honestly say I was surprised by the results but man was I hoping for an upset! Kinky would have been fantastic...I can't believe Strayhorn beat him! What's wrong with people??? Anyway cheers to more fun times with Perry....*drowns self*

You weren't the only one. I worked so hard collecting signatures to get him on the ballot and on his campaign.
