It's like the saying curiousity killed the cat. It's good to look before you leap so you don't do something idiotic, and think about what your about to do first.

Sometimes it's good to look before you leap so you don't end up in a pile of sh*t...literally and figuratively.

Don't just look first before you enter a situation; thoroughly think it through. Are you willing to do what is expected of you in the given situation? Do you have what it takes to "suck up" any incidentals that may occur. This is not like buying a new bra...it's your future!

No, its is not always practical to look beforew you leap, in fact if your blind, its not possible.
