Hi There, Good question for a change? Homework? It is easy the fall of Vicksburg, it tore out the underside of the Confederacy, stopped shipping hindered and movements and basically ended the war for us. The next worse thing and much worse then Gettysburg was the Battle of Franklin, who can even speak of it without tears and a sadden heart? Feel free to write me with questions involving the war southron_98@hotmail.com. God Bless You and the Southern People.

In many ways, the Battle of Waterloo in 1815 constituted a crucial turning point in the tactics of land warfare.
