Oh, how sweet, April 19th is my birthday! You cannot tell what you are going to have. There are LOTS of old wife tales and they are all wrong! There is only one thing that told me I was having a boy and that was my maternal instinct, from the moment I knew I was pregnant I thought it was a boy, every time I thought about the baby I thought of it as a boy, and when I was 19w 2 d pregnant I was told it was a boy and it was confirmed at 25w.
Every pregnancy is different, for example, my friend has a boy, when she was pregnant she got so much morning sickness that she lost 25 pounds in her first trimester, I never had morning sickness, her baby's heartbeat was 165 and mine is 150, her belly was very round, mine is pointy, we only have one thing in commun, her baby kicked all the time really hard, mine does too!

I'm not gonna guess...everyone else already has. They figure out the due date based on the date of her last period. They calculate 36 weeks after that, and give you an estimated date. As the pregnancy progresses, and ultrasounds are done, they may change the first due date to a more solid one based on ultrasound pics and the growth of the baby.

Congratulations! But for sure it's one or the other! Wait till she's about 16 weeks along to get an ultrasound and maybe you'll find out then. If the baby wants you to know, it will position itself so that you guys will know. Otherwise you'll have another ultrasound later on in the pregnancy to hopefully determine the sex of your baby.

put a ring on a chain and hold it over your wife stomach if the ring spends around it's a girl if the ring goes back and forth it's a boy good luck

There is a really good Chinese calendar predictor that is said to be 90% accurate using date of conception and your age. My guess is.....GIRL! I always guess girl....I am about 50% accurate...:D
