As long as there have been no complications since your D&C you should be fine to try again.
I lost a baby at 12 weeks in January and was advised to wait for one normal period to ensure my cycle had started properly again and that any future pregnancy could be accurately dated. I followed that advice and then started trying again - baby due in three weeks and five days!
Don't forget to consider the emotional as well as physical side of things for both you and your partner. For us, we felt we wanted to 'get back on with it' as soon as possible because we still wanted to have a baby and that hadn't changed.
However, I can understand that for some people there needs to be a longer time to grieve and move on before you're strong enough to consider trying again. Trying to conceive (unless you get really lucky!) is likely to invlolve months where you don't fall pregnant. That means dealing with disappointment and the bleeding of a period which can bring the whole horrible miscarriage experience flooding back to you.
You as a couple will know when you are ready and I hope you will be blessed with a healthy baby very soon. Good luck!

I also lost a baby at 2 months. I had a dnc. It was my third pregnancy. I had a 3 and a 2 year old. My doctor recommended at least 3 months. I started taking birth control pills, but became pregnant three weeks after my dnc. I had a great pregnancy no problems. 2 hr no epidural delivery. Really the easiest of all three to carry. Just make sure to go to all your check-ups. I wish you luck and am sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. I'm pretty sure it would be safe, but you have to think are you really ready to take that chance right now, considering all that you have been through? If i was you I would think aboutit for a while. Maybe wait a couple of months and try to get over what you have went through. All I'm trying to say is if your ready then go for it but if you have the slitest dought, then consider all facts. I had a friend that went threw the same thing a few years ago.

it depends on your body and mind, I only say that because some women don't want to get pregnant right away because scared they might have another miscarriage again, I would give my body and mind sometime to heal and talk with my doctor. Good luck and I am sorry for your lost, it took me 2 years before I tried again but that was me.

Sorry for the loss of your baby. My sister in law lost their first baby and we were just torn up~
Her Dr recommended 2 months........and now is expecting Jan 20th.
Don't go off what is good for the people on line, check it out with your Dr. Your Dr. knows your body's health, we don't!
Best of luck!

I lost twins in March of 2005, and they recommended that I wait a few months to let my body heal, I concieved my daughter on Halloween of that year and she is fine. I would wait at least another month if I were you, so that your body can heal as much as possible.

you are at least getting close. I think the doctors would ask that you wait for three months, but I know women who have gotten pregnant the very next month. Good luck!

You should talk to your doctor. My sister in law had one miss carriage, the doctor told her to wait 3 months, she didn't and had another one. Trying too soon can cause another one, but I don't think you have to wait 6 months. Talk to your doctor, he/she is the BEST person to advise you on this!
