I don't have acne problems but also get pimples from time to time. The best/quickest solution is to put on some toothpaste (not the gel kind) on the pimple before going to bed, by morning it should already be better. This works because the toothpaste dries the pimple. As for preventing pimples, the less you touch your face, the more likely you won't get any and drink lots and lots of water and don't over wash you face either.

Well I have the same issue. I don't have huge breakouts, but if I lack in hygeine a bit for a day or eat too much junk food then I'll get a few annoying pimples. But I use Proactive face wash and it works fantasticly. I ran out last summer and tried like 5 different really popular brands at wal-mart like neutragena and clearisil and nothing works it remotely as well for me. But if you already have a pimple(s) then wash it well (always use a gentle exfoliant and wash) and then astringent, and then put a layer of Oxy on there. Oxy vanishing cream. It will dry up the pimple in at Least 2 days, usually just over night unless its really big.

SECRET !!! SECRET!!! SECRET!!!

I used to have a face full of acne, I manage to get a drug called Rochutane (by Roche) take only 1 tablets each day for 15 days straight. Take the medicine with milk 1st thing in the morning when you wake up. stay away with grilled / bbq / fry / fast food during this duration. (only consume steam food, take more fish and drink at least 3l of water a day in this duration)

After 15 days..... your face is as smooth as baby's skin and even after medication, try not to consume too much fry food and sleep early.

you can also try to use shreaded CUCUMBER (put in the fridge for overnight) squeeze all the juice to a glass drink the juice with a pinch of salt and the cucumber is used as a mask. Do it everyday until your acne is gone, ( if you are taking rochutane, it should be less than 15 days for the full efect)

Note, do not consume the medicine is you are pregnant. get advice from the doctor!

This may sound funny have I have tried it all these years. Since I have oily skin and I use to have pimples all the time when I was a teener. My dermatologists prescribed laundry soap to correct my acidic skin. I use it everyday up to the present. I t makes my skin dry and I don't suffer from pimples anymore. II t also checked my skin oiliness. I am now a grandma. Try it and it is so cheap.Keep one in your personal soap case . Good luck !

Okay, I've been dealing with pimples for about 13 years now, so I consider myself an expert.

Use a cleanser with a salacylic acid (like Avon Clearskin or Neutrogena Acne Wash). Then follow up with a 10% benzoyl peroxide cream. (I use generic and it works just fine).

I would also suggest that you sterylize your cell phones and home phones, as they can contribute to bacteria on our skin.

Good luck!

Clearasil anything! They have all sorts of things to prevent and get rid of pimples.

There's one that will get rid of people in 3 days. (Sometimes even if one day in my experience). It's called Ultra Vanishing Acne Treatment Cream
Check out their website and look at their products. I really like their face washes.

Their Clearasil Daily Acne Control--3 in 1 Acne Defense Cleanser that prevents breakouts and keeps your skin clear and even, without drying it out.

I use products by the brand Vcare. Applying refining serum and hydrating masks often can reduce pimples and speed up the healing process.

Use a face wash daily and a "toner". I use Nutragena blackhead remover.

Whatever you do, DO NOT put toothpaste on them! It is a myth, and unless your pimples have plaque, it won't do anything but irritate your skin!
