I'll be going away for likely up to 30 years, what can I expect in a Maximum Security, Secure Medium Security or high Medium security, not totally sure.

First I would act crazy. If I had to do 30 years in prison and if I were out on bond, which you are probably not. But if you were I would skip out, and when they caught up with me; without hesitation I would "BLOW MY BRAINS OUT". There would not be anyway I could make it in prison. First of all my ***-H... is not made for the big "Bubba's you see, or in a cell with. You also have to realize that 66% of inmates are mental cases to start with. Gangs would be another problem. You will be asked to join a gang depending on the members, and you will be asked to join another gang, but which ever gang you join you will become an enemy to whichever gang you did not join..You will have people in the mess hall that will tell you if you don't give me your beans each day you are a "dead man". If you are a "whimp" you will not make it. If you are a "guard's pet you will not make it. If you were somewhat like "Mike Tyson" you are home free.

Maximum security..... I know it is hard to say don't go in there scared, but you need to. They will smell weakness. Time stands still. Mind your own business.

Um, I've never been to jail but I do work in the field...expect to be under the watchful eye at all times & watch your back.

Depends on the prison. Do your own time and stay away from punks, gambling and dope.
