Sometimes people need to back off.... You sell me something at a funeral and i will go ballistic on you...

I don't guess I fault them for trying to sell, I'm in sales myself. I will NOT press anyone to buy anything especially if I cannot clearly see that it will benefit them to own it. I hate telemarketers and will hang the phone up on them sometimes without even telling them I am not interested in what they are selling. Maybe that's rude, but if I want some extra insurance or if I want to change my phone service, I like to think I'm smart enough to do that without some "voice from the sky" phone call to explain the benefits to me out of the blue. And no, I would not like to supersize that order thank you very much! ; )

Only if they are pyramid schemers and they try to pretend they are interested in you first. If someone is a straight-up salesperson, I just think they are doing their job.

Once, this girl struck up a conversation with me, told me she liked my jewelry, even asked me for my number. I thought she was hitting on me, even though I'd mentioned my fiance. Then she started in with some sales pitch. It just made the previous 10 minutes seem so insincere, and I would NEVER trust somebody like that enough to buy something from or go into business with him/her.

I think this type of selling is so obnoxious!

The only people trying to sell me stuff is friends and coworkers, there kids have school stuff they have to sell so i buy. I dont think anything about it. You do what you have to do. We do have junky people coming around the mall where i work, the perfume thing. They are not supposed to be there but they sneek in, lol. We just tell them no and they go on there way.

NO, I just sigh a little and tell them to have a very nice day. Sometimes, it is gratifying to hear the "Spiel Voice" drop in relief at my interrupting them so soon and they tell me to have a good day, too. Like they were let off of a hook.

They are a pain in the butt, but are trying to make a buck like everyone else. I send them to the next unsuspecting victim!

Rum shots!

I don't fault people for doing their jobs. I fault them for their methodology at times.
