I loved his rendition of "Hey Joe" and "Down By the River".
Saw him live at the old Liberty Hall on Chenavert St. in Houston in the 70's. Man now that guy could play a tellie. This guy could give his flavor to any song. "Green Onions, "Flash Cordin' " and on and on. His live work was better than his studio stuff I thought.
Thanks for the memories Roy. And thanks for the question.

A real toughy. Many will say "The Messiah" but for me it's a toss up. "Mrs. Pressure" or "Wayfaring Pilgrim" love 'em both.
