I am interested in learning to play, and i'd like a nice guitar, thats not crazy expensive...or maybe a kit that comes with a how to video. Please suggest a brand, and maybe a website of a good store to buy from. Thanks a bunch!

There are many brands that are good, I would start with something cheap, then once you got the hang of playing good then you can buy a better brand like Martin & Co.( the best), Ovation, etc.......Yamaha, Peavy are ok brands you could start with. I don't have a Martin & Co., but would love to have one, they sound so great. I have an old probably 1950's style Sears model acousitc guitar, and it sounds like a folk guitar, it is pretty neat.

Well for prices go to the different music stores around you and compare. I wouldn't order off line and of course Do Not buy a guitar from walmart! Brands you could try any kind of Fender. I have a Fender Pacifica and love it.

Right now, there are some acoustic guitars by Mirage on eBay for like less than half their original cost. They have been acclaimed by many musicians and are a great deal. You can see more about them at http://www.miragegworks.com
