It has to be EXHAUSTING trying to blame all Bush's failures on Clinton at this point. A more democratic congress would allow the repubs to blame Bush's failures on congress.

Whoa! Who said this is over and that the dems won??? Last that Fox is reporting they still need three seats in the Senate and 5 in the house. Western states are still far from being fully reported. Don't count your chickens before they're hatched.

I think you have hit upon the secret strategy of the Republicans this year. '06 was never going to go well with the Iraq situation. With the Democrats controlling one or both houses of congress, '08 will go better for the Republicans. They know that the Democrats still have no good ideas for solving anything, won't be able to do anything with Bush in the White House, the Supreme court is already somewhat fixed, so this year is no big deal.
They hope that only the house is lost- the Senate would take longer to get back.

It doesn't matter who is the blame, the problem is, what are the Republicans going to do about it, and they know that. Blaming Clinton and the Democratic Party is a way to hopefully get more votes for the GOP. That's politics.

I do not and never have blamed Bush's issues on Clinton. We could have prevented a lot of terrorist issues had Clinton been man enough to deal with it.
I hope Bush locks up Congress for 2 years.
