There are 7 continents. As far as the size is concerned first comes Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia.

Asia -:
Asia is the largest country in both population and size. It extends from 10*S to 80*N latitudes and 25*E and 170*E longitudes. Its north south extent is about 8,500kms and east west extent is about 9600kms. The Caspian Sea and the Ural mountains separates Asia from Europe, Bering Strait from North America and Suez Canal from Africa.

Africa -:
It is the 2nd largest continent. It lies between 18*w to 51*w longitudes.

America (North and South)
It is 3rd and 4th largest and 7*n to 83* 13*n to 55 *s latitudes respectively.

To know about other remaining continents search on google or ICSE board geography RK JAIN Ratna Sagar book.

There are 6 Continents 1 of which is the combination of Europe and Asia. Europe is like a peninsula of Asia and is therefor part of it. Americans are the only ones that think and have been taught incorrectly, that this is not the case.
North America, South America, Eur- Asia, Africa, Australia, and Antarctica.
Continent as in continental drift, as opposed to all the others, Europe is NOT on its own continental plate.
India could more easily be a separate continent as it slams into Asia on its own plate.
