A buddy of mine has a family event that he cannot miss tonight. However, he is scheduled to go to his DUI (drunk driving) class tonight. He wants to call in with an excuse on why he can't make it, and how he will make up the class, but he does not want to say he is sick because they will request a doctors note. What should he tell them?

So he illegally drinks and drives, possibly putting my children's lives in danger AND he's a liar? He has a lot more problems than how he's going to get out of a DUI class that he has to go to because of a bad decision tht he made. Hopefully he will make a better on next time.
Sorry I didn't give you any advice on what lie to tell but I don't feel sorry one bit for people who drive drunk.

When I attended that class. You could miss..... you just have to make it up or if you missed more than once you had to pay again. I never missed but peeps that did used excuses like, no ride, or couldn't get out of work....good luck......... ;)

A consequence for his thoughtless and disregard for anyone elses safety - and now he wants an excuse to avoid any responsibility for his actions?

Good luck.
