Don't tell him unless you are sure.
Cheap tests work too. Why not get another one just to be sure.
When I chose the cheap tests, I always get the tests that say "early detection" just to be sure.
I hope this helps! :)

The pregnancy tests available today are pretty accurate so you may be OK. Especially if you took it recently. They can usually pick up the presence of HCG (The pregnancy hormone) several days before a missed period. I wouldn't tell your boyfriend because it's probably just a false alarm and you don't want him to freak out. Consider yourself lucky on this one and be very careful in the future!
Good luck!

If you've been under any stress lately, or changed any habits (exercising, eating, etc) it could affect your cycle. From experience, I've even had altered cycles just by changing birth control. If you work yourself up about it, you could prolong your already late cycle. Try and relax, take a hot bath, get a good nights sleep. If by Monday you still haven't seen any changes, I would suggest seeing a doctor. You could be pregnant and the hormone that triggers the tests to tell you your pregnant could be very light in your system and that could be why the test showed negative. A doctors office can detect the slightest amount of the HCG hormone.

If your tests are coming up negative, then most likely you aren't pregnant. I would see a doctor to find out why your period is so late, especially if you're usually regular. I wouldn't tell the would be father, since you may scare him for no reason. Check with the doctor first and see what's up. Good luck!!

wait another 2 weeks, and dont tell him anything yet, not unless you are very very close and there are no relationship problems... Take a test every week for the next 3 weeks, if still no period or positive see a doctor. You may be late due to a cold delaying it... colds can delay your period for up to a week or more depending on severity, also stress can do it too. Just see a doc and good lcuk!!! CONGRATS IF SO!!!

Take another test and if it still negative and you don't get your period go to a doctor. The blood test is more accurate. I guess it depends on the father to be. If you think he will just panic don't tell him until you know for sure. If he will be a source of support go ahead and tell him. Good luck hun!

Don't tell him until you've been to the doctor and have had a pregnancy diagnosed. Those home pregnancy tests can be wrong both ways. You could try another home pregnancy test but I suggest going to the doctor, there tests are much more acurate and if you're not they can test you for other sources of your symptoms.

Try using another test with your first pee in the morning, because your urine is more concentrated then. Wait until you have a proper result before talking to people. It is possible that your period is just delayed due to stress. However if you're concerned you can ask your doctor about a quantitative hCG blood test which will tell for sure if you're pregnant or not.

just keep in mind that those home pregnancy test are the same as the ones in the dr's office. they can produce a false negative so i would take another one in about a week. also if you are stressed it can cause a missed period. good luck

Definitely take a few more, and if it keeps coming up negative, wait until your next scheduled period. If it doesn't come up, tell the father, and possibly see a doctor.

Well I wouldn't tell him just yet. You might get his feathers flustered too early. Give it a few more days, and try a little bit more expensive one, then test it again. If you're still negative, wait a week and see if it comes. If it hasn't and you still have a negative test, get ahold of your doctor to figure out why your period is MIA.
