Honesty is telling enough of the truth so that it doesn't cause hurt, if possible. But it isn't always possible, so the less said the soonest mended..

You always want to tell the thruth and if you don't want to offend the person with a "fashion tip" or something like that, then sometimes it's ok to just let them wear what they want.
