I am losing water, but here is no evidence of a leak anywhere. Would a broken head gasket be the cause?
any ideas as to where the water is going.

If you have the tools remove your spark plugs first thing in the morning if they show water anywhere you know you have a gasket problem also the first try to start will be a very hard start as first the pistons have to get past the water inside. good luck I have a 2000 Ford Turbo Diesel to the answer who insults ford eat your heart out.

i own a repair shop, and yes a bad head gasket will make it loose water, and you cant see where it going to you might notice a lot of vapor coming from the exhaust system on it ,but other than that you may never notice any thing else on it id keep a check on the coolant level, and see hoe fast your loosing it,,if its lie a quart a day or more it has a bad head gasket o it for sure, good luck i hope this help,s.

With cold engine remove radiator cap, fill radiator if necessary, start engine and at idle watch coolant in radiator. May need a light , watch closely for bubbles, if any appear you have gasket problem. You should also have excessive moisture in exhaust, if you are using anti freeze the exhaust will show white like steam.

did you pressure check the cooling system????
if so remove the spark plugs and check for any one plug cleaner or fuzzy stuff on it .that is one way to see if you have a blown head gasket. or drive the truck till good and hot then remove the spark plugs out and look at the spark plugs hole s you may see steam come out . there your problem a blown head gasket
