does anyone know the details to the washington and dempsey fight? what exactly happened? is knight gay? when did this happen and when did washington make a public apology???? did he exclusivley tell people magazine about his apology?

I know that Dempsey was late getting on the set and thats when washington got all in his face. Washington said something like " At least I'm not gay like knight" This forced knight to come out so yes he is gay. As far as a public apology I'm not sure but I think Washington has comented that his remark was out of line. I read somewhere that tension was building between Demsey and Washington to start with. Originally Washington was suposed to play Mcdreamy!

I heard that the fight happened over Knight being gay. I guess Dempsey was sticking up for him or something. And Washington choked Dempsey.....or so they say. Who really knows except for the people there. I haven't seen or heard anything about Washington apologizing though. I did hear a rumor that he might be let go because of the fight. Maybe that is why on the show they don't have him doing much. Maybe they are preparing us viewers because he will soon be gone. But that is just my opinion.

Knight is gay. Supposedly this came up on the set and Washington and Dempsey went at each other about each other. It got personal and personl got gamely and next thing they knew they were playing froggy. Punches were thrown. Reporters saw most of it and the show made Washington make a statement saying it was all a mistake and there was nothing to the argument. He never formally confessed to the fight.
