It has began to run rough and difficult idling. the crazy thing about it does run well once in a while.
I suspect the carburator running to rich consequently fouling some spark plugs.
I need some advice as to what to do!

Put in a set of hot tip spark plugs and gap them alittle closer. If this doesn't help find a good carb mechanic. Old guy.

my advice is junk the holley carb and replace it with a carter or an edelbrock. personally i wouldnt own a holley if you gave me a brand new one
