The problem in CT, where I live, is we have too many elite Republicans here. They voted for Lieberman to stick it to the liberals. What they do not know is Lieberman is as liberal as all the other Democrats. The only thing he has done right is defend the war efforts.

In my opinion, Joe Lieberman is an honest man who speaks with conviction - definitely not someone who rubber stamps everything his party spews out or what the poles indicate the people want to hear.
Isn't it great to see that a lot of voters from both sides of the isle still appreciate this rare characteristic in a politician?

Lieberman is a solid candidate who keeps his word, even when it got him stabbed in the back by his own party. That's pretty "stand up" and he deserved to win.
