I have two Guinea pigs also, I have to keep them seperate or they will also fight. In my case their personalities are just different one guinea has to be the alpha male and the reason they are fighting is to show the other who is the boss

Guinea pigs of the same sex, especially males will usually fight. You need to separate them. The good news is, you won't end up with baby guinea pigs.

Try placing two hut in the cage, sometimes piggy will fight over a home in the cage, also try placing hay and food bowls in a neutral are in the cage, this way one can not corner the other. If they continue to fight, you will need to separate them as they will continue fight and cause injury to one another

You can have same sex pairs together, I have a least 250 piggies in my rescue and males paired together do not always fight as other people are saying here

If they're of the same sex, they're basically trying to sort out who's the dominant GP on the hill. If they're not hurting themselves too baddly (ie, running and chasing) let them sort it out for awhile, and once they've settled their differences, they'll be okay. Although like humans, occassionally they might still test the boundry :)

If the GP are causing damage to themselve (ie. bitting ), you'll have to separate them. Thou tame and shy as they are, they could do alot of damage to themselves when they fight.

Do give them enough space and place to hide (during any fighting), that will prevent the loser from getting hurt too badly if they have place to run away. If you're using C&C cages, try to set up a grid between them.

if there males they may be maturing ai think u should separate them for a little while so they can not harm each other
